At Iron Tree Brewing Company, we believe that good beer and good company go hand in hand. That’s why we offer a wide variety of beers to please everyone in your group. Plus, we think you’ll find our newly renovated tasting room in downtown Christiansburg to be a relaxing atmosphere. So bring your friends and family and come enjoy our delicious handcrafted selections together.
Our Tasting Room
The site for our brewery is a former furniture store located in downtown Christiansburg. The space had been vacant for many years, so in addition to being completely retrofitted for use as a brewery, it also needed some TLC! We began our renovations in May of 2019 and wrapped up in 2021 for our grand opening in May. We hope you find the finished product to be a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy some great beer in.
Our tasting room seats 60 people and we have an outdoor seating for 20. We offer:
flights of 5 4 oz tasters
10 oz glasses
16 oz glasses
32 oz growlers
64 oz growlers
In addition to great beer, we plan to occasionally host local bands and food trucks so you can enjoy food and live music while you sip our beverages. Our brewery is also available for private events upon request.

You can park along the street in front of the brewery and adjacent businesses.
Since we are a tasting room only, we do not serve food. However, we partner with several local food trucks to be on site during our open hours that you may purchase food from. On the days we do not have food trucks, you may bring your own food. We also encourage you to check out some of the local restaurants in the area before or after your visit to our brewery.
Yes, a selection of soft drinks will be available for purchase.
No. Unfortunately that would be in strict violation of Virginia ABC laws and could cause us to lose our license. Your non-beer drinking friends are welcome to bring non-alcoholic drinks with them. We also have a selection of soft drinks available for purchase.
We accept credit cards and cash, and are working towards accepting Apple pay and Samsung pay.
We have limited outdoor seating.
Well trained dogs are welcome inside our tasting room and in our outdoor seating area!
Yes, we are family friendly, and children are welcome in the brewery.
Yes, we sell 32oz and 64oz growlers. We will fill growlers from other breweries as well.
Yes! You can purchase e-gift cards online here or at our register in store.
